The Avonbridge Hotel is a traditional low-rise hotel that lies half a mile from the M74 motorway and a similar distance from Hamilton Central train station. The hotel is the brainchild of Luigi and Rita Martalo, who have a long history of providing high quality service to their customers. After leaving Italy, the couple opened their first catering business in Hamilton in 1954 before diversifying into the hotel trade. Luigi and Rita still take an active interest in the running of Avonbridge Hotel and are proud that their children and grandchildren are now actively involved. Comfortably furnished rooms come with en suite bathrooms, free WiFi, TV with satellite channels and tea & coffee-making facilities; an upgraded room includes a whirlpool bath and plush 4-poster bed. The hotel includes an excellent restaurant, plus a popular bar/pizzeria.

I had my wedding on the 4th of September 2021 and could not have asked for a better venue. The manager Marco was fantastic along with the master of ceremonies juliano they could not have done anymore for us! The bar staff were fantastic and very accommodating. The set up of the hall for the ceremony, meal and night was like a fairy tale and I could not have imagined it looking any better. Canapes and drinks were available for all guests straight after the ceremony and the night buffet was put out in perfect timing. All in all i would highly recommend this venue for any function!
